CFDA awards

So I was looking through the guests that arrived at the CFDA awards and thought I would share with you my top outfits that I felt really stood out!
Jessica Stam - I thought choosing a short dress for such an elaborate event could have been a bit too plain and risky for Jessica, however I think it works really well! The pale yellow refects the summertime and shows off her long legs while she adds in a pop of colour through her shoes and necklace.
Adriana Lima - I really think Adriana has to be one of the most stunning women in the world right now and this dress does her even more justice. The see through mesh skirt keeps a link in with the typical ball gown one might wear to such an even, while also showing off her beautiful legs and adding a modern twist. To be honest she could wear a bin bag and look stunning in my opinion!
Erin Wasson - I have to say this dress couldn't be anymore flattering on Erin, the bright white is summery and brings out a glow in her skin while the detailing on the dress slightly shows off her perfect abs.
Harley Viera - It was nice to see somebody in a tailored suit and I have to say she looks really cute and smart!
Miranda Kerr - I thought this dress was so much different to the rest I love the sheen that the material has to it and absolutely love the straps on the shoes.

Fairytale contrast photoshoot!

This is another shoot I did for my uni project and I came across it today and had to share it with you. Its all about contrast and I chose to over lap a fairytale theme with a more urban dark side.  Me and my friend managed to find these ruins of an old church hidden behind a load of urban dirty looking buildings. A also love the colours I captured in the photo's from the browns and greens of the autum leaves! I really enjoyed creating this shoot and I hope you like the photographs! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

My fashion Newspaper!

Sp this was my final piece for my fashion project! We had to create a fashion newspaper about 24 pages long and we were free to pick exactly what we did it about so i chose to base mine around Nostalgia. I wanted the reader to remember their great memories of childhood and other years of their life when looking through my magazine so it was hard work coming up with the different subjects to include...
The pictures are from a festival photoshoot I took part in which i chose to use in my magazine as i felt as if they gave off a real nostalgic feel. For most people festivals are a massive memory in people's lives and its something everyone tends to do and for me this is one of the biggest memory somebody has of their teenage years.
These pictures are shots from my pin up shoot and doll shoot.
Who doesn't remember drawing in coloured chalk on a pavement as a kid? these are a couple of pictures i really enjoyed creating!
My candy inspired shoot and my shoot which involved somebody hiding in a den! something i loved doing as a child.

This is a quote i found on a blog which i absolutely love and thought it fitted in so well with my theme! hope you like my newspaper :)

Topshop wishlist!

Everytime I visit Topshop I always come out with a list as as long as my arm that I want to buy! So I thought I'd put together some of the main things I would love!
1. When I saw the bright flower pattern against the black of the dress it caught my eye instantly as I always love brightly coloured clothing. This dress is £38 which I think is pretty reasonable and like the picture it would look perfect with a pair of chunky heels.

2. These are a pair of pretty earrings that caught my eye the other day, they are £12.50 and I absolutely love the over sized rhinestones with the contrast of the red roses.

3. I love how paisley pattern is everywhere at the moment and I love how its been faded slightly and used on these cute denim hot pants. There £38 and I think they are perfect for summer and I would team them with my simple converse for a casual look or a pair of chunky wedges for a more formal look.

4. I am absolutely in love with the range of chunky heels topshop have at the moment, I orginally saw the same shoe with a black heel and electric blue straps but I didnt move quickly enough and they have gone :( however I love these coral coloured heels as I feel they will go with a vast variety of outfits such as a flowing maxi dress or a pair of hotpants.

Birthday Buys!

So a little while ago I discovered one of the most individual shops called BS8 on park street in Bristol. It is made of up individual shops and if you ever want something slightly different then this shop is perfect for you! I bought this cute little crop top with a flower and lace pocket and I had to choose from about 10 different colours and patterns! Its a really good quality thick jersey material and at less then £20 I couldnt say no.

So I had a £12 Next voucher to spend. I dont normally shop in Next but I needed to spend the voucher and realised I really needed a new pair of sunglasses! So I found this pair which I thought were really cute and in style.
The next thing I bought was this cute denim playsuit with elasticated waist. The elasticated waist is great because it pulls you in at your middle giving you a bit of shape and I really liked the light vintage style denim which I feel could go with many things.

This was one of my favourite buys which is a maxi dress from Miss Selfridge. I love Miss selfridge at the moment the shop is full of bright patterns and girly designs. The dress also has a hankerchief effect on the front which I think is really flattering.

So for my birthday my friends bought me this cute white dress with lace sleeves and chest panels! I absolutely love the cut out shape at the back and it has a really flowy girly feel to it! This dress would be good for either dressing up and going out or maybe for just a casual garden party with a pair of nice sandals.

Black oriental print jogger trousers

The other day I went shopping and made an impluse buy on these. They're oriental print jogger trousers from River Island and I absolutely love them! Not only are they bang on trend with the high waist that you can mix and match with all sorts of cute crop tops, but they're also extremely comfy! You can also wear them very casual or dress them up a bit with a plain black crop top and sky high platform shoes. I normally add a gold necklace to complete the look. I highly recommend  everyone grabbing themselves a pair of these and at only £20 you cant really argue with that! xxx

Goodies from india!

So my boyfriend just got back from india and brought me back a few nice things including this handmade leather shoulder bag by Holii! I absolutely love it the craftmenship thats gone into the bag and the detail is lovely. Its also a good size and has a couple of compartments and an inside zip so it fits all the essentials. Its perfect for just about anything!

Cutaway Red Velvet Trousers with suspender Clasps

Eccentric new look: Little Mix star Leigh-Anne Pinnock wore a pair of red velvet cutaway trousers for a night out in London on Monday
I have to say when I first saw these trousers I wasnt too sure! However the more I look at their Quirky Style the more I like them. I haven't ever seen a pair of trousers quite like this! I love the high waistband as its very flattering on Leigh-Annes figure as it would be on many body shapes, I also like how it reveals a little bit of skin but not too much. These have to be the perfect half of an outfit to wear on a night out when you dont want to go for full legs on show ( as we all know the warm weather is yet to show itself ) but you want to have that slightly cheeky/sexy style.
Hint of thigh: The 21-year-old exposed some skin in the new style of trousers, which had panels connected by suspender clasps Pictures Copyright of The daily mail and Spash News.
