The bubble bag being brought back into fashion has to be one of the most nostalgic items to re-invent. I dont know anybody you didnt have a bubble bag as a small child I think I even had three! Right up there will Jelly shoes! Even though it is quite childish I dont see anything wrong with bringing these back I think they could add a cuteness and softness to most looks like the individual in the picture. Have to say i felt a small dream come true when I stalked these shoes on Karen Millen website until they finally came down in price so to be JUST affordable for me. I know people gasp at the price of shoes these days and these beauties were around £150 originally. However after trying them on and tottering round you really do get what you pay for. They are ridiculously comfortable and they have built in padding that make you feet feel so cushioned. I'd never considered Karen Millen shoes before now but I will definately keep my eye out for her sales in future.
I dont know about you but I really like the new clothing range by rihanna for River Island. I think it is a really great move for Riverisland as a marketing strategy to get in someone like rihanna for their brand as she is no doubt one of the most popular icons that most teenagers and students look to for their next fashion trend to follow. What I love about the collection is its simplicity and how you could no doubt imagine rihanna wearing any of the garments herself. Theres a really clear connection between the designer and the clothing and I really feel that rihanna has made her mark very clear throughout the entire collection. From the plain block colours to the short mini denim hot pants and denim tops theirs a clear link with this seasons sport trend which runs well with riverislands trend.
