Betty & Rose floral headbands and crowns...

I very recently discovered some of the prettiest headbands created by Betty&Rose and couldn't resist writing a post about them! Their headbands consist of wire or plastic wrapped in hemp and decorated with lovely flowers which I think are too cute! they're absolutely perfect for festivals or even day to day wear and will go with a wide variety of outfits. Black oriental print jogger trousers

The other day I went shopping and made an impluse buy on these. They're oriental print jogger trousers from River Island and I absolutely love them! Not only are they bang on trend with the high waist that you can mix and match with all sorts of cute crop tops, but they're also extremely comfy! You can also wear them very casual or dress them up a bit with a plain black crop top and sky high platform shoes. I normally add a gold necklace to complete the look. I highly recommend  everyone grabbing themselves a pair of these and at only £20 you cant really argue with that! xxx

Goodies from india!

So my boyfriend just got back from india and brought me back a few nice things including this handmade leather shoulder bag by Holii! I absolutely love it the craftmenship thats gone into the bag and the detail is lovely. Its also a good size and has a couple of compartments and an inside zip so it fits all the essentials. Its perfect for just about anything!

Body Art Photoshoot

This is another shoot I did for my current project at Uni where I looked into black and white photography and body art. I felt that body art went well with black and white because it made the patterns of the tattoos and face make up stand out a lot better then in colour. The shoot is also about how people change their appearance and use things such as tattoos and make up to express who they want to be on the outside as they feel it is a more improved them. On the other hand it could also represent hiding away the flaws in yourself that you do not want other people to see.

Doll Photoshoot

This is a photoshoot I recently did to gather images to go into my newspaper that I am constructing for my university module. My magazine is looking at Nostalgia and relating to the audience through them recognising memories of theirs throughout. For this shoot I decided to go down the route of toy dolls as they normally play a big part of a young girls childhood. I had the models have that glazed over expression to resemble that of a dolls and for you to almost be unable to tell what they are thinking. Other ideas behind this shoot are that girls aspire to be perfect when younger and aspire to be perfect like their barbie doll, this same thing transfers into adult hood when women still apire to have that perfect looking woman like the models we see on glossy magazines and thats the inspiration behind my photoshoot.

Vintage Festival Photoshoot!

This is me! Posing for a Festival Photoshoot photographed by my very talented fashion best friend Rose! The whole shoot consisted of me prancing around like a mad person while playing with a flag and acting everything festival! Thoughroughly enjoyed it! Although managed to pull my leg muscle while trying to do multiple handstands! Im just not as young as I used to be haha Im also wearing the new tights by Pretty Polly which have the built in knee high socks which make them perfect for dancing around at festivals! as we all know how annoying it is to keep having to pull up your socks! These are the answer!

Cutaway Red Velvet Trousers with suspender Clasps

   
I have to say when I first saw these trousers I wasnt too sure! However the more I look at their Quirky Style the more I like them. I haven't ever seen a pair of trousers quite like this! I love the high waistband as its very flattering on Leigh-Annes figure as it would be on many body shapes, I also like how it reveals a little bit of skin but not too much. These have to be the perfect half of an outfit to wear on a night out when you dont want to go for full legs on show ( as we all know the warm weather is yet to show itself ) but you want to have that slightly cheeky/sexy style.
